Unix ClockGeeks and labrat math guys (there’s a difference?)and of course, ME, was celebrating the Unix time 1234567890!! Today!

A lot of you guys sure you now are thinking what the heck is that? So Unix Time unlike time systems intended for humans, simply counts the number of seconds since midnight UTC on January 1, 1970. It’s a convenient way for computers to measure elapsed time, provided the start date wasn’t before 1970. On Friday, the number of seconds will hit 1,234,567,890.

In case you’ve got other plans and can’t celebrate the milestone, we’ll see you next time on… december 22, 2282 at 3:13:30PM ET for the arrive of 9876543210 Unix Time.

Celebrate as you wish and with you want to., listen to Gene! :D

And if you think this its great, mark your calendars: It’s only 11 and a half years until XX:XX:XX X/XX/XX day.

Gene Simons (KISS)
